Sketches for prolife images, by Gloria Poole, RN artist in Missouri

I am adding five of the sketches of babies, small children with mother or missionary, because these are some of the sketches I drew/ painted trying to learn mothers with their babies for prolife images. These are all sketches which I define as quickly drawn on paper and then painted with watercolors, acrylics, inks, or powdered pastels. I differentiate them from paintings because they are more fragile, and they are usually done by me in hour-3 hours of time. I draw and sketch often trying to improve my skills. The U S has been a nation bereft of positive images of infants and small children since that GOD-forsaken abomination named Roe v Wade was thrust upon it.

The first image is my photo [all of these are my original photos of art I created] of a baby. Babies are hard to draw correctly [in my opinion] because their proportions are very different from adults. Their heads are huge --about 1/3 of their body size, and their ears are lower [and their cheeks are rounder if they are full term baby. So this sketch is an attempt of mine to draw an accurate representation of a living baby at six months of age.

The second sketch is the redo of the sketch I named "childhood" so it is sketch 2 by the same name. It is powdered pastels. I think I put the first sketch of it on another blog of mine at: https://gpoole817.blogspot.com.

The 3rd sketch is an unfinished sketch done very quickly of an Asian mother holding her toddler.

The 4th sketch is a missionary holding a native child in a village where she lives and promotes the gospel. It is watercolors on paper.

The 5th sketch is in acrylics and I named it "Jemima" of a native child to Africa, that I saw a very similar photo of in a missionary magazine years ago. I did not try to replicate the photo in magazine exactly. I seldom do that, but I try to draw poses and clothing and hair styles in authentic way. I selected that name Jemima after the brand name "Aunt Jemima's" that makes products I like. Also, I almost always give paintings I create or sketches I create a name / title of some sort. If I don't usually it means I did not consider the sketch or painting to be completed yet.

The white streak across the bottom of the Jemima sketch is NOT on the sketch. It is apparently some cyber-criminals attempt from remote to alter image on memory card.

These are only a few of the 800 or more original art "works" I have created [as a hobby , working from my home studio. But really it is not work at all because I love to draw and paint. I do not have a boss; nor an employer, but create art, blog, write poems, tweet, pray, publish scripture one or two sentences at a time. ]

Also, I have an art studio in my apt and a home office such as it is. I work for myself and the glory of GOD and have since I had such massive trauma in July 2006 that i couldn't work as RN in hands-on position any longer; so I decided I would improve my drawing and painting skills and try to find another way to make a difference in the world.

These are prolife images because JESUS said 'as you have done it to the least of these, you have done it unto me'. kjb.

Sketch Preemie with mother

This is my sketch of a newborn mother with a "preemie" [premature baby]. Premature babies are scrawny, thin, bony, not much fat on them and therefore they lack the fat pads in the cheeks that help them take milk. This is intended to be a reminder of several medical issues about premature babies. First, they need lots of TLC, close, constant eyeballing, to make sure they are breathing, and warm enough. Because they do not have any fat [subcutaneous ] they have a hard time maintaining their body temperature warm enough, so they usually need a blanket or the warmth of their mother or father to keep body temp in safe zone. Also, the other huge medical issue is that there is evidence that abortions cause or contribute to premature births; because in an abortion, the mouth of the womb is forced open with a metal instrument, which weakens it. Then when the woman is pregnant again, and tries to go full term, sometimes she can't because mouth of womb doesn't close properly. Premature babies with TLC grow up to be as full term babies in many cases, but if they require oxygen in their early days of life, there are some risks that should be discussed thoroughly with a neonatal specialist. If they have to have oxygen to survive, that settles the issue, but it can be monitored closely with special equipment.

This is merely a sketch, as I tried to draw/ paint a scrawny baby. Full term babies have fat on them and in their cheeks which helps them apply suction to either the nipple to get milk.

Remember the tiniest humans--be prolife activist

I am updating some content today on blogs, and adding content. I was quite surprised to see whom Google plus thought my friends are! That's always an adventure in wonderland sort of. Well. I am ever cautious about adding unknown persons to my "circles" so I am not very good [yet] at figuring my Google + pages.

I am trying to keep the medical photo of the tiny human sort of front and center on one blog or another because when people see that it becomes hard for them to abort. Which, of course, is my goal. So here is it again:

Please remember there is something you can do to help save the baby humans. You have at least one talent. I know that because The Bible says GOD gave every person at least one talent and some people more than one. Use your talent for the glory of GOD; and GOD will bless it and it will multiply it into other talents.

This G-L-O-R-I-A is alive & getting stronger [Gloria Poole]

I am alive and getting stronger. I know from alerts of my name that 20 people named Gloria supposedly died last week, but I wasn't one of them. I would also guess that those so-called deaths were fabricated by the cyber-hacking team of the evil Planned Parenthood. The cybercriminals who are on the payroll of Planned Parenthood and who use the taxpayer funded ACLU to sue and harass prolifers all over the nation, seem to be without consciences of any sort. Of course, The Bible says that those who kill innocents are from the devil.

It is written, "The thief [the person who steals the glory of GOD; or anything including the domains of others, or emails or websites & content of others for their personal gain for instance] cometh not [but for the purpose] to steal and to kill and to destroy. I {JESUS speaking} AM come that they might have life and have it more abundantly. " John 10:10. King James Holy Bible.

And it is written, " Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He [the devil] was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. I try to document publicly when I am cyber-attacked. About 3 days ago one of my cell phones was broken into, to try to scramble the code of it. It was hacked in other words. It took me an entire evening to undo the scrambled code and get my signal back again. And another cell phone of mine had the money I had added to it, stolen by criminals who broke into it via twitter last nite. The efforts by the wicked to suppress the prolife message began long ago. The wicked have not won, and I have not quit the cause of telling people that abortion is a sin against GOD; that GOD wrote in stone "thou shalt not kill" {Exodus 20:13, KJV] and that killing innocents will send them to hell.

Here below is a medical photo of how a tiny human looks in the amniotic sac [commonly called the bag of waters]. It is a sin against GOD to kill these tiny humans or to kill them at any stage of development:

I have much equipment I bought; and more than one method of connecting to the internet. I learned during the campaign year of 2008 that having only one way to connect put my mission at risk since the killers-of-babies-in-the-womb- break into computers as a routine way of doing "business"; and they corrupt /rig elections, and they drain money off prepaid phones; and they steal emails of prolifers; and they send fake obits to the internet to try to fool some of the people all the time; and they bribe some judges; and they kill a whole lot of innocents in the womb; and they lie, cheat,corrupt, send malware to try to destroy, and steal and kill. It's their character because they are not of GOD.

I complained about it before but since I began it and it is on one of my blogs still, I retain the right to use my name written that way [G-L-O-R-I-A].

One of my medical sketches: baby in utero

This is the medical sketch; or one of them, that I drew some years ago. It was one of a series of medical illustrations that I drew to illustrate the stages of human development. I have the sketches but this is the photo I added to another site of mine before. The series of illustrations that I drew were on a website that I bought and paid for that was entitled onlineeducator.biz that was stolen FROM me from what was then my godaddy hosting site. Someone broke into the administrative panel and ripped the domain right off the hosting account that belonged to me. I am adding this photo here because it belongs to me; this blog belongs to me, the sketches were my ORIGINAL created content; and to reclaim them as rightfully included in my copyrighted intellectual properties; and this apt and this computer belong to me [Gloria Poole, RN & artist in Missouri].

My life on the web has been even more chaotic than my real life in some ways. There was an on-going effort by a man in Colorado [whom I am divorced from since Oct 2007] who did much physical harm to me, to try to ruin me. Since last November, my Verizon mifi account was hijacked and I had to cancel it. Then, I had to call the telephone company twice two weeks apart to repair my landline phone after criminals broke into my landline telephone account; then my apt was broken into and a little notebook with my signature in it and much personal info including my two daughters' names, emails and telephone numbers was stolen, [in the past month]; and I had to make a Police Report. So, it's been a trying few months. But I have not quit, and the enemy has not won! There is a GOD and thank goodness HE lives in heaven; not on the insecure internet.

Here is the medical sketch that is readily accessible to me. I have the others but in a secure place and it is difficult somewhat to get to them [on purpose]. I also have them backed up about 3 times on external hard drives.

This medical illustration was drawn by me and is pencils. I did all of that series of human development in pencil [graphite] because I was not sure if I could draw medical illustrations. It was my first effort to do that.

3 months later; and much effort!!!

This is a more recent photo of me Gloria Poole of and in Missouri. I am adding it here, today, because it has taken me until today to get control of this account of mine. The problems began in Nov, 2012, when my tablets were broken into by a cyber-attack team probably paid for by Planned Parenthood and the wicked Obama who was running for office when my Verizon acct was broken into,by someone at remote place by someone whom Verizon provided my password too. I had Verizon mi-fi but I have since cancelled that account [because no service on mi-fi since Nov, 2012; and because I was not going to pay for service for cyber-criminals and because Verizon had NO SECURITY].

So, this is as I looked that day I took this photo of me Gloria Poole.

They were trying to CENSOR my religious and prolife words and content. They didn't succeed because Verizon was a an optional account, not critical to any way to me--one I had only to connect my tablets for apps, and graphics--i.e. not mission-critical to anything. I have a regular isp account on my desktop and also different [other] methods of being on web.

How Babies Develop in Womb; by Gloria Poole,RN

From Embryo to Fetus in the womb : medical facts by Gloria Poole,R.N.

There are several distinguishing features of the transition of an embryo to a fetus. Both of these words are medical terms for a certain stage of development in the womb. There is no abrupt change from the embryo to the fetus. Instead there are cumulative changes that are evolving day to day.

The embryo changes from an amorphous shape to more of a tiny human with all parts. Also all of the major body organs have either appeared or the precursor of them has developed. As the embryo survives the second month in the womb, and is alive at the beginning of the third month, the tiny human is less vulnerable to the effects of disease in the mother, or radiation of the mother, or medicines the mother may have taken. Of course women who are pregnant should never drink alcohol or use drugs! At any stage of the pregnancy the baby in the womb is harmed by alcohol, and many drugs have teratogenic effects.

The term fetus is appropriate after the major organs are either formed entirely or the precursor of them is present e.g. for the kidney. The fetus is still vulnerable but not as much so, since the tiny human has a larger body and therefore it would take larger doses of medicines through the placenta to harm the tiny being, and the tiny baby also has more developed organs to filter the medicines that might pass to the baby through the placenta. At the end of the first month after fertilization the human embryo is about a quarter of an inch in length from the top of the flat bulbous like head to the end of the emerging legs that look at first like a tail. Most of the organs are beginning to take shape as the cells continuously divide and differentiate.

The tiny human develops by a 'blue print' that is built into the chromosones and genes that the tiny human received from the mother and from the father. Twenty-three chromosones come from each parent in most instances. In Down's syndrome the chromosones are different. The baby's brain develops first since it is needed first. The wisdom of GOD in creating humans is obvious if you really study human anatomy and physiology much. The outlines of eyes appear and a primitive mouth and by 30 days after fertilization the three primary parts of the brain are present , and the eyes, ears, and nasal passages have begun to develop. The beginnings of the backbone is present but that first month the tiny embryo is sort of hunched together in a C shape. There is no discernible arms or legs yet but the "tail" will become legs. The heart will have started beating even though it is not completely formed. The tiny human has a closed circulatory system that includes the baby's own blood vessels and also the umbilical cord and placenta to the mother. The digestive tract opens from the mouth downward for the first time on about the 28 th day after fertilization by the male sperm. The liver appears by about the 21 st day after fertilization. The thyroid gland begins to form. The stomach, intestines,liver and pancreas are there but there is no anus yet. The lungs are not developed yet. Lung buds begin about day 27 and the trachea [windpipe ] appears a few days after that.

By the time the tiny being would be called a fetus he or she would have gained weight to one gram or about one- thirtieth of an ounce, which is not as much as an aspirin tablet but for the tiny human it is significant progress since it means a 50-fold gain in body mass gained during the second month over again what the tiny human weighed at the end of four weeks after fertilization. By day 31 muscles appear in the pelvis and arms and legs begin to form and look sort of like a bud on a tree in bloom.The valve separating the chambers of the heart appear on day 31 or soon after. The germ cells [sex determining] move along the mesoderm toward the genital ridges and will form either ovaries or testicles. By day 32 the caudal muscles appear [in what becomes the baby's behind] and the last pair of gill- like arches that will develop into lungs appears. By day 33 the cerebral cortex in the brain develops. By day 34 more of the muscles that will become the thighs and legs develop and the stalk that separates the baby from the yolk sac lengthens. By day 35 the primitive germ cells have arrived in large numbers near the ridge that develops into the kidney. And the olfactory part of the brain that regulates small is present in the brain. By the fifth week the tiny human is 8 millimeters or one- third of an inch long from crown to rump and weighs about 1/1000 of an ounce. The jaws are forming and the face is beginning to look like a human face. The umbilical cord is present and is the only part connected to the placenta. The pituitary gland is forming in the middle of the brain. The pharynx branches into the two parts that will go to each lung. The membranes [peritoneum] that separate the intestines form the chest have formed and separate the lungs,heart and trachea from the stomach and intestine. By day 36 the arm and legs buds appear, and the 'tail' starts to shrink and the baby may start moving about. By day 37 the intestines have grown enough that they are beginning to curve into their adult shape. The brain stem that controls respiration is recognizable. By day 38 the jaws of upper and lower begin to look symmetrical and with an mouth between them and the eye muscles have begun to form in the orbits. Hands that look more like paddles form and then when the fingers elongate they look more like hands. The insides of the baby have grown so fast that they sort of bulge and could be seen easily through the almost transparent skin of the baby. By day 39 the nerve fibers are present to connect the sense of smell of the olfactory nerves. By day 40 the pigment [color] of the eyes could be seen through the transparent skin also. The jaws are well formed and the teeth, and facial muscles are forming also. The gill arches disappear and the diaphragm appears that moves up and down in respirations though the baby does not breathe in the womb but later sort of practices that effort. The liver starts producing red blood cells and takes over from the yolk sac. By day 42 the reflexes being and fingers and toes are more visible and the beginnings of gonads are visible. By the sixth week the fetus is 13 millimeters or half an inch long from crown to rump. Cartilage that will become bone appears. The head seems huge in relation to the rest of the body and bends forward onto the chest since baby is still sort of a C shape. Fingers appear. And the mammary glands begin. The stomach and intestines rotate into position, muscles lengthen and both cartilage and bone are visible in the forming skeleton. The kidney has begun with the pronephros the first but non-functioning kidneys. By day 44 the retinas of the eyes form, and also the palate of the mouth and and the canals of the ear. By day 46 the gonads are formed either ovaries or testicles so the sex of the baby. Viola! by day 48 after fertilization the tiny human looks like a human! And is definitely a fetus.
